The eligibility for a refund is contingent on the nature of the service delivered. Refunds may only be processed under the following conditions:

  • Non-Delivery of Service: If UXDLAB fails to initiate or deliver the agreed-upon service within the specified timeline and no progress or updates are provided to the client.
  • Service Not as Described: If the delivered service is significantly different from what was mutually agreed upon in the signed contract, statement of work (SOW), or any other official agreement.
  • Incomplete Deliverables: If UXDLAB provides a service with incomplete or partial deliverables, despite full payment being made by the client.
  • Non-Functional Deliverables: If any product, website, or mobile application delivered is proven to be non-functional, and repeated efforts to rectify the issue have failed.
  • Service Cancellation by UXDLAB: If UXDLAB voluntarily cancels the service before completion, a full or partial refund may be offered based on the progress of the work completed.

1.2 Product-Based Refund Eligibility

For any digital products, such as templates or tools provided through UXDLAB’s online store or platform, the following refund conditions apply:

  • Defective Product: If the product downloaded or delivered is corrupt or defective and the issue persists after reasonable troubleshooting efforts by UXDLAB’s support team.
  • Incorrect Product Delivered: If the wrong product is delivered, and the client has not downloaded or used the digital product.

2. Exclusions from Refund

Refunds will not be granted under the following circumstances:

  • Change of Mind: Refund requests based on a client’s change of mind after a project has started or been delivered will not be honored.
  • Client Delays: If the client causes delays in the project, such as failure to provide necessary materials, approvals, or information, which ultimately affects the delivery of the service.
  • Lack of Communication: If the client has been unresponsive or has failed to communicate with UXDLab within a reasonable time frame, delaying project progress.
  • Post-Approval Edits: If the client has provided approval for the final deliverable and then requests changes, refunds will not be processed for work already approved.
  • Third-Party Costs: Any costs incurred for third-party services, such as hosting, plugins, or other tools required for project completion, are non-refundable once purchased on the client’s behalf.

3. Refund Request Process

We strive to ensure that all refund requests are handled promptly and fairly. To initiate a refund request, the following steps should be followed:

3.1 Submit a Refund Request

Clients must submit their refund request in writing to our official email address at support@uxdlab.us within 30 days of the service delivery or product purchase date. The request must include:

  • Client’s Full Name and Company (if applicable).
  • Project or Invoice Number.
  • Date of Purchase or Service.
  • A detailed explanation of the reason for requesting a refund.
  • Any supporting documentation or evidence, such as screenshots or contracts, that support the request.

3.2 Evaluation of Refund Request

Upon receipt of the refund request, UXDLab’s support team will:

  • Acknowledge the refund request within 3 business days.
  • Review the request to assess whether it meets our refund eligibility criteria.
  • Request additional information, if necessary, to facilitate a thorough review.
  • Provide the client with an estimated time frame for resolution, which typically ranges from 7 to 14 business days, depending on the complexity of the issue.

3.3 Refund Decision

Once the evaluation is complete, UXDLab will notify the client of the decision:

  • Approved Refunds: If the refund is approved, the amount will be credited to the original payment method used by the client within 7 business days of the approval notification.
  • Partial Refunds: In cases where only part of the service or product was unsatisfactory, UXDLab reserves the right to issue a partial refund, based on the amount of work or deliverables completed.
  • Refund Denial: If the refund request is denied, UXDLab will provide a detailed explanation, including references to the relevant sections of this policy.

4. Refund Timelines

  • Refunds will generally be processed within 7 to 14 business days of an approval decision.
  • The exact timing of the refund depends on the client’s payment method and financial institution.
  • If there are any delays in processing, UXDLAB will promptly notify the client and provide a revised estimate of the completion date.
